About

A Knowledgeable Estate Planning Lawyer

At Martin Law, PC, Estate Planning provides us with a chance to give our clients protection and peace of mind by protecting their assets, giving them control of their health, and helping their family. Helping people throughout New York address family issues, mortality, finances, and health concerns, guarantees new challenges every day. Michael Martin’s goal is to tie all of these issues together, so that the client has an Estate Plan that meets their needs.

Professional Experience

Michael Martin is the founder of Martin Law, PC. He received his Juris Doctorate from Pace Law School and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995. He has served as the Village Court Justice in the Village of Fishkill since 2002 and is an Ethics Board Member in the Town of Fishkill.

With 20 years in practice, Michael Martin has helped numerous clients through many issues. This experience has given our firm the following:

  • Knowledge of the law and how we can best create a plan to meet your needs
  • Consideration for your unique situation gained by listening to your goals
  • Understanding of the various issues that come with settling on an Estate Plan
  • Dedication to work with you and your family during every step of the process

Experience in other areas of law is essential to meeting all the needs of our clients. An inheritance can be used as leverage in a divorce proceeding. A client’s spouse may be in a business subject to lawsuits. Clients may file for bankruptcy, get divorced, or get arrested. Someone who has limited legal experience may have only read how these other areas of law may impact an Estate Plan, but have never tested the theory in real life.
